UFC 310 is this Saturday, December 7th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

I’ll give picks for all the prelims (bold font is my selection), but only the main card fights will get a synopsis (for times sake). All odds are based off DraftKings Sportsbook.

Heavyweight: Kennedy Nzechukwu (-550) vs Lukasz Brzeski (+410)

Lightweight: Clay Guida (+700) vs Chase Hooper (-1100)

Welterweight: Michael Chiesa (-112) vs Max Griffin (-108)

Flyweight: Cody Durden (+130) vs Joshua Van (-155)

Middleweight: Chris Weidman (-115) vs Eryk Anders (-105)

Welterweight: Randy Brown (+185) vs Bryan Battle (-225)

Featherweight: Movsar Evloev (-258) vs Aljamain Sterling (+210)

Welterweight: Vicente Luque (+124) vs Themba Gorimbo (-148)

Light Heavyweight: Anthony Smith (+285) vs Dominick Reyes (-360)

Featherweight: Nate Landwehr (-130) vs Doo Ho Choi (+110)

I’m all aboard Nate “The Train” Landwehr this weekend. He’s an absolute dog. His fight against David Onama back in 2022 was one of the greatest fights I’ve ever seen. He came back after getting beat up in the first round to win via majority decision. Choi knocked out Bill Algeo back in June, but he’s been vulnerable in the past. If he can’t get Landwehr out in the first round, it’s gonna be a long night for the Korean.

Featherweight: Bryce Mitchell (-850) vs Kron Gracie (+575)

This is going to sound contradicting. I think Mitchell wins this fight, but in terms of placing a bet, I would sprinkle a little on Gracie for the value. “Thug Nasty” Bryce Mitchell is one of my favorite fighters. I saw him live at UFC 282 face off against the current Featherweight champ Ilia Topuria. However, I don’t think the odds are warranted here. Mitchell is a grinder type fighter who will take you down and beat you up. Not exactly something you would want to do against Kron Gracie, who comes from the family that invented Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’m not certain Bryce has a huge advantage on the feet either. In addition to all this, he’s coming off a brutal KO loss to Josh Emmett.

Heavyweight: Ciryl Gane (-375) vs Alexander Volkov (+295)

This is the second fight between these two. Gane won the first contest back in 2021. I think the odds speak for themselves. Both are predominantly strikers, and Gane has a clear advantage in that department. Volkov is a smart fighter, and he does have some good value at +295. However, I would put Ciryl Gane in a parlay or take him to win via decision to reduce the juice.

Welterweight: Shavkat Rakhmonov (-375) vs Ian Machado Garry (+295)

It’s pretty crazy to see +295 next to Garrys name. As talented as he is, the guy he’s going against is a killer. Shavkat is 18-0 in his pro MMA career with 18 finishes. I’ll say that again. He’s finished ALL 18 of his professional MMA fights. I don’t see that changing here. Ian Garry got a little exposed on the feet in his last fight against Micheal “Venom” Page. Rakhmonov isn’t as polished of a striker as MVP, but I still think he wins by knockout.

Flyweight: Alexandre Pantoja (-250) vs Kai Asakura (+210)

This Flyweight division is just crazy. Steve Erceg got a title shot against Pantoja in May despite only have 3 UFC fights. Asakura is getting an opportunity without ever stepping foot inside a UFC octagon. He’s 13-3 in the RIZIN Fighting Federation, the number one MMA promotion in Japan. It was created by the same guy that founded Pride FC back in 1997, which competed with the UFC for quite some time. As good as Kai has looked, I think the step up in competiton will surprise him. Pantoja is a ruthless grappler, and he went toe to toe on the feet with Brandon Moreno last year to capture the belt. I expect him to take down Asakura and win via submission.
